Security Officer 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Salem, NH 03079 Canobie Lake Park is currently hiring Security Officers for our 2025 season. Join a Team of motivated individuals and help us achieve our mission of providing the highest quality entertainment experience for the best value in New England. Security Officers are assigned to posts throughout the Park. On these posts, officers are to remain observant and approachable while enforcing Park policies and guidelines, responding to calls for service, and providing guest service to all Team Members and Guests in their assigned post. Officers will be assigned to a variety of posts throughout the day such as foot and mobile patrols, Security Dispatch, parking lot duty, bike patrol, etc. to ensure our Guests and Team Members have a safe and enjoyable experience. Security Officers work outside in all weather conditions and are on their feet for a significant part of their shift.
Responsibilities:
maintaining a highly visible presence through foot patrols, mobile patrols, and through select stationary positions (posts) throughout the Park. identifying and reporting safety and security hazards. providing Guests with information and directions. engaging Guests to enforce Park policies, regulations, and guidelines to ensure safety. writing clear, concise, timely, and accurate reports of incidents when applicable. properly utilizing two way radios and telephones to effectively communicate with counterparts, supervisors, and Park management . reuniting lost children and personal belongings. assisting in the placement and removal of barricades and cones, and opening and closing of gates for the purpose of directing pedestrian and vehicular traffic. understanding and complying with Team Member guidelines, departmental SOPs, and General Orders. other tasks as assigned.
