• Access Control in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication skills support exceptional customer service. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities observed during patrols or while monitoring access.
Collaborate with site personnel to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
