As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding to situations as they arise and supporting the needs of the location. If the post requires driving, a valid driver’s license is necessary. AM Requirements :
Valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements is required.
New Jersey Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
