As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, providing a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and other security-related responsibilities. Your role will involve monitoring entry points, managing badge access, and responding to alarms as needed. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence and strong communication skills. AM What You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence in a healthcare location.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Support security-related procedures and protocols, including reporting unusual activity or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining composure and clear communication.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities and security-related incidents.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
