Security Guard MPS Investigations & Guard Services Dunkirk, NY 14048 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of individuals within the premises. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe activities and detect suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying potential security risks or hazards. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities. Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detail. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and the public.
