As a Security Professional – Retail Site – Part Time in Central Valley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail or mall environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions with guests and staff. PM Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any irregularities.
Collaborate with store management and other staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
