Security Guard (Unarmed) Opus Operations 585 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10018 “`Duties“`

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence
• Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized entry and maintain order
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities
• Conduct security checks of the premises, including doors, windows, and gates
• Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and clients as needed
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records “`Experience“`
• Previous experience in security or related field preferred
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Strong communication skills for interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Basic computer skills for writing reports and using security software

Skills:

• Military or law enforcement experience is a plus
• CPR and first aid certification is desirable
• Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to property
