Security Officer 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars New York, NY 10017 Security Officer – Midtown Manhattan, NYC United Security Services Inc. is seeking experienced Security Officers to join our team in Midtown Manhattan, NYC. Job Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional services to guests. Patrol guest areas for suspicious activity and unauthorized individuals. Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining top-notch hospitality and interpersonal skills. Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel. Investigate incidents and generate reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Other related responsibilities as needed.
Must-Have Requirements:
Must be NYS Security Guard Licensed. Must be able to stand, patrol, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must pass a drug screening. Must have flexible availability. Must have basic computer skills (Office 365, internet, typing). Prior hotel experience preferred but not required. Must have at least 2-3 years of verifiable security experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check. A well-groomed and professional appearance, in alignment with the luxury hotel’s high standards. No visible facial piercings or unconventional hair colors that may not align with the hotel’s image. Punctuality and reliability with the ability to arrive on time and prepared for every shift. Flexibility to work extended hours or additional shifts as needed. A proactive attitude, with the ability to stay active and alert throughout the shift. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and staff. CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
