Oversees theimplementation of the clients’ schedule. Develops and implementssystems to organize and monitor work activities. Monitors Guard 1System Conducts effective supervisory conferences and performanceevaluations with employees, documents the content of such meetings,and provides feedback. Implements progressive discipline whenneeded according to the applicable policy. Writes professionaldevelopment plans in conjunction with employees to aid in theirtraining and development. Facilitates new employee on-the-joborientation. Schedules employee training to ensure that allmandatory training requirements are met. Conducts one “fullfacility” headcount each night. Conducts fire drills during clientsleeping hours, as scheduled. Supports the Abraxas philosophy andmission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care. Demonstratesappropriate use of Safe Crisis Management techniques and skills

Minimum Requirements:

The following educational requirements areacceptable for this classification including: Bachelor’s degree andone year work experience with children; OR Associate’s degree or 60college credit hours and three years work experience with children.

Other Qualifications:

At least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & childclearances and, if necessary, FBI). Non-communicable diseasesphysical exam. Valid driver’s license from employee’s state ofresidence. Valid registered vehicle insurance. Ability to work withcomputers and the necessary software typically used by thedepartment. Why Should You Consider Abraxas?
