Unarmed Security Officer Ramline Security LLC Green Lane, PA 18054 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and surveillance operations, contributing to the overall safety of the premises. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks. Utilize CCTV systems for surveillance and monitoring of activities. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required. Requirements Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess a valid security officer license or certification as required by local regulations. Willingness to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
