Gym Supervisor Job Description Job Overview:

The Gym Supervisor monitors operations within North Summit Climbing Gym. They are a self-motivated leader with an outgoing and positive attitude who can anticipate and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring operations within the gym Works with customers to introduce them to climbing and all safety protocols Tests and certifies climbers for belay and lead climbing Ensuring that staff follow all safety and security guidelines Troubleshooting issues and addressing customer concerns as necessary Open/close the gym on scheduled days. Supervise gym floor staff Be able to perform all supervisor/floor staff functions Make sure all cleaning/maintenance tasks are done as required Report all accident/incidents properly and in a timely manner Respond to emergency situations with professionalism Other supervisor duties as assigned

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Strong analytical skills Ability to problem-solve and make decisions Ability to supervise Ability to work nights/weekends Ability to enforce rules and regulations Ability to handle money Punctual and reliable

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Associates Degree or relevant experience Customer service experience

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift
