• Job Description:

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned
• Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks
• Conduct foot patrols of the facilities where access is provided to identify safety and security concerns
• Makes periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured
• Provide feedback to supervisor of any exceptions, incidents or pertinent information
• Ensure that all Company security standards, policies and procedures are maintained
• Report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities. Ensure security of doors, windows and gates
• Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Complete a Shift Report per the Shift Report Writing Guidelines
• Attend staff meetings/trainings as required
• May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.

• QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required
• High School diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of experience in warehouse distribution, security or equivalent combination of education and experience.
