ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned
- Conduct frequent patrols of the facilities and complete safety and security checks
- Conduct foot patrols of the facilities where access is provided to identify safety and security concerns
- Makes periodic tours about buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are properly secured
- Provide feedback to supervisor of any exceptions, incidents or pertinent information
- Ensure that all Company security standards, policies and procedures are maintained
- Report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities. Ensure security of doors, windows and gates
- Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering restricted areas
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Complete a Shift Report per the Shift Report Writing Guidelines
- Attend staff meetings/trainings as required
- May serve as liaison with police on mutual problems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required
- High School diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of experience in warehouse distribution, security or equivalent combination of education and experience.
