Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Armed Security Officer to join our team. The Armed Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, while maintaining a vigilant and proactive approach to security.

Duties:

• Patrol the premises, including surveillance of CCTV cameras and monitoring of alarm systems, to identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
• Conduct routine security checks and inspections to prevent and deter theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
• Provide security escorts for employees and visitors, as needed.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or fires, and provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness, including conflict management and de-escalation techniques, to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Perform loss prevention duties, including surveillance and monitoring of high-risk areas.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report and investigate security incidents.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to a strict code of conduct, as required by company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from employees and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid certificate in security, such as a Security Officer License or a Certified Security Officer (CSO) certification.
• Have a strong background in law enforcement or security, with experience in conflict management and surveillance.
• Possess current CPR and first aid certifications.
• Demonstrate a high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Be proficient in the use of CCTV systems and have experience in surveillance and monitoring.
• Have a strong commitment to loss prevention and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Possess a high level of integrity and adhere to a strict code of conduct.
