EVENT START TIMES WILL VERY BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING TIME FRAMES

Friday 4pm

• 3am + overnight in vehicle Saturday 12pm
• 3am + overnight in vehicle Sunday 12pm
• 10pm Metro Security is hiring professional and dependable Event Security Guards to join our team for a high-energy LGBTQ+ bar and block party event.

These events are designed to be safe, inclusive, and welcoming spaces for all, and we are looking for individuals who are committed to supporting that mission.

Key Responsibilities Ensure Safety:

Monitor the venue and surrounding areas to maintain the safety of patrons, staff, and property.

Access Control:

Check IDs and manage entry, ensuring compliance with age and venue policies.

De-escalation & Conflict Resolution:

Address disturbances calmly and respectfully, using non-confrontational techniques.

Incident Response:

Handle emergencies (medical, physical, etc.) efficiently and coordinate with staff or authorities as needed.

Patrols:

Conduct regular walkthroughs of all venue areas, including restrooms and patios. LGBTQ+

Awareness:

Interact with patrons in a respectful, informed, and inclusive manner.

Customer Support:

Assist guests with questions, directions, or concerns in a friendly and helpful way.

Policy Enforcement:

Uphold venue rules and alcohol regulations consistently and fairly.

Team Communication:

Stay in regular contact with fellow security staff, bar personnel, and management during shifts.

Qualifications Experience:

Prior security experience, especially in nightlife or LGBTQ+ venues, is preferred.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills.

Physical Readiness:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents.

Security personnel will wear either a company-provided uniform or attire aligned with the venue’s brand while maintaining a professional appearance.
