Overview:

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and the property. The Security Officer will be required to patrol the premises, monitor the building alarm, and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.

Essential Duties:

• Patrol the premises and company parking lots to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors and windows.
• Monitor alarms and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, and assist with directions and information as needed.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and adhere to all safety and security protocols.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 5:00 am-1:00 pm (full-time role) (40 hours per week) Marginal duties:

• Perform all other duties as may be required.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Characteristics:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs.
