Responsible for insuring the safety and security of medical center employees, patients, visitors and property.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED is strongly preferred. Must have and maintain a valid state-issued Driver’s License. Must complete a comprehensive South Carolina Law Enforcement background check as required for SLED certification. Must complete the minimum training for Security Officers as required by the state during the first 30 days of employment. Excellent communication, reading, writing, critical thinking and basic comprehension skills required. Must be able to complete all reports and supplemental documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Reports must be clearly written and free of grammatical errors.
