Armed Security Officer Hilton Head Plantation 7 Surrey Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 Hilton Head Plantation is hiring two full-time armed patrol officers for the following shifts:

• 2nd

Shift:

• 3:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 3rd

Shift:

• 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Patrol Officer Requirements:

• The Patrol Officer must obtain an armed SLED registration and have a clean criminal record and driving history. Reliable transportation and a good driving record are essential.

• Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security and safety of assigned areas through regular patrols and monitoring.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as competence in computer and gathering pertinent information for report writing.
• Effectively manage conflicts and incidents using de-escalation techniques.
• Utilize multi-tasking and computer skills to operate busy gates effectively.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Enforce laws and regulations to maintain order and protect individuals and property. Conduct surveillance activities to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior.
• Enforce traffic laws and participate in radar enforcement.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and adhere to established protocols.
• A background in the military, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred.
