As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. AM What You’ll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site protocols.
Assist with visitor management, including logging arrivals and departures and issuing visitor badges as required.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
What We’re Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
South Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
