Broadway Bar Ambassador/Security
WHISKEY BENT SALOON
Nashville, TN 37201 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Ambassador to represent our organization and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a keen sense of observation, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. As an Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in maintaining security, providing assistance, and enhancing the overall experience for guests. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with inquiries, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Greet patrons at the entrance, verify age identification, and enforce capacity limits. Monitor patrons and surroundings to identify and de-escalate any disturbances or unsafe behavior. Respond quickly and effectively to incidents including fights, medical emergencies, or unruly guests. Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure a secure and welcoming environment. Escort patrons out of the venue when necessary, using nonviolent conflict resolution techniques. Perform routine checks of restrooms, exits, and other areas to ensure security and cleanliness. Keep detailed incident reports and communicate any safety concerns to management. Follow all legal and company guidelines regarding alcohol consumption and security protocols. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Valid security license Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; candidates with these certifications will be prioritized. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
