Unarmed Security Guard Bearden Hill Fieldhouse 6600 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 Bearden Hill Fieldhouse is hiring unarmed security guards. Pay is commensurate with experience. Hours will vary anytime between 9pm and 4am. Part-time position. State of TN requires Unarmed Security Guard licenses. We will pay for the permit class and you will be responsible for purchasing the permit which is valid for 2 years. We are seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at the Bearden Hill Fieldhouse. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and employees. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
- Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be physically fit to patrol premises and respond to emergencies as required.
