Unarmed Security Officer – Roving Patrol 4pm-10pm •$18hr AT Protection Services LLC Knoxville, TN 37922 We are seeking a skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our residential community’s security team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and security of our residents and property. Your primary responsibilities will include the protection of individuals and assets, as well as the implementation of security protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular vehicular patrols of the residential premises to deter and detect potential security threats. Monitor access points to identify and respond to unauthorized individuals or suspicious activities. Engage in the safe and professional handling of firearms, if required, to maintain a secure environment. Interact with residents, staff, and visitors to provide information, assistance, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Respond promptly and appropriately to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities. Conduct security equipment checks and assist in ensuring fire safety and emergency preparedness. Assist with access control and vehicle traffic management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. MUST have a vehicle and VALID driver’s license Possession of a valid and up-to-date Florida D class security guard license and any relevant firearm permits required by state regulations. Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable. Proficiency in the use of firearms and a commitment to firearm safety. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with residents and staff. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform other physical tasks for extended periods.
