INTRODUCTION TO ROLE A
Security Guard’s responsibility is to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The guard observes signs of crime or disorder and investigates disturbances. Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits. Seasonal roles are eligible for sick time and holiday pay.

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
WHAT YOU WILL WORK WITH

WHAT YOU BRING
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense Registered as a security officer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 75 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times, you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for.
