The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage access control, monitor activities through surveillance systems, and respond to incidents as they arise. Duties Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity. Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor real-time activities and maintain safety protocols. Respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies, employing conflict management techniques as necessary. Provide assistance to guests and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment while maintaining security standards. Report incidents or irregularities to management and document findings accurately. Collaborate with law enforcement or loss prevention teams when required. Qualifications Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or security is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance practices is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. A background in military service is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
