OcalaBets is a brand new cardroom open in beautiful Ocala, Florida. Our fully remodeled facility is located on the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company complex. The cardroom includes 35 card tables featuring traditional poker and Vegas-style card games including Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker, and DJ Wild. Full bar service with a fast casual menu will be available as well as simulcast wagering on horse racing throughout the country shown on over 100 televisions. Job Description:

The Surveillance Operator will be responsible for observing all areas of the property via surveillance systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal gaming regulations. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and be able to identify, report, and document suspicious activities. Pay based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor all areas of the card room via CCTV surveillance systems to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify, report, and document any suspicious activities or potential threats. Assist with investigations of incidents in compliance with company policies. Work closely with management to exchange information regarding potential issues or risk areas. Conduct and document reviews as requested by management and outside agencies. Ensure the proper functioning of surveillance equipment. Maintain comprehensive records of surveillance observations and activities. Troubleshoot issues that may arise with surveillance equipment and software programs. Regularly utilize computers, phones, and handheld radios.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, and obtain and maintain a Florida gaming license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of gaming laws and regulations. Knowledge and understanding of AML, BSA, Title 31, CTR, and SAR-C. Previous experience in Casino Surveillance, Security, Law Enforcement, Loss Prevention, Gaming, or another related field. Proficiency with the use of surveillance equipment and technology. Knowledge of poker-based card games.

Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:

The ability to maintain focus and make accurate observations over prolonged periods of time is crucial. Proficiency with computers is required. Strong observational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English; verbal and written forms.

Working Conditions:

This role involves sitting and monitoring screens for extended periods. Indoor, quiet working environment. Must be able to work nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
