The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Duties Monitor and operate CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of company assets. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations effectively and taking appropriate action. Manage conflicts with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to resolve issues peacefully. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed, ensuring the well-being of employees and visitors. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and daily activities for review by management. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place. Qualifications Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is an asset. Military experience or training may be beneficial but is not required. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
