AIRLINE SECURITY AGENT/GUARD

Job Scope :
The Airline Security Agent/Guard plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers during arrival or departure of aircraft to gate area. Your responsibilities include monitoring the deplaning and boarding process, screening employees and crew with credentials for international flights for any suspicious activity, complying with Customs officials to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas above and below wing. You must remain vigilant and responsive to any potential security threats
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the jet bridge /and stairs with access to aircraft that only authorized personnel and passengers with valid boarding passes access the aircraft. A checklist will be provided daily for control purposes. Validate the authorized entrance to aircraft from airline representatives. General declaration manifest for crew, ground personnel with Customs seals and respective areas assigned. Crowd Control to prevent unauthorized access to the aircraft. Maintaining a visible security presence to deter any suspicious activity. Responding to security alarms or alerts promptly and efficiently. Customer Service to help and ensure smooth boarding experience. Coordinating with airline staff and law enforcement during emergencies or security breaches. Documenting and reporting any incidents or irregularities during the boarding process.
Job Requirements:
Legally eligible to work in the United States. Must possess a valid Florida Class-D Security License. Must have completed – High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must read, write, and speak English proficiently. Must be able to pass a verifiable background check, including criminal employment, education, and personal references. You must possess a valid state-issued Driver’s License or a valid state-issued I.D. card. Must be able to pass pre-employment / annual / random drug screenings. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work and interact with the public. Must have the flexibility to work around and changing schedules. This includes being available to work shift throughout the evening as required.
Physical Demands:
