Join our team, we arebuilding a state of the art 54,000 square foot flagship Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, we will serve customers across North and South America and beyond, the complex will accommodate all current Falcon models, (including the new, ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet), and will be capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models. We are seeking full time Aircraft Maintenance Technicians who will be responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope tasks assigned. The AMT performs tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards and utilizes the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications and fueling and de-fueling.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that you present yourself in a professional manner and appearance in a day-to-day contact with customers, guests and co-workers. Perform tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards and utilize the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to: maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, troubleshooting, repair and modifications, fueling and de-fueling. Be thoroughly familiar with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual relative to the scope of the normally assigned duties Perform at maximum efficiency by effective use of available resources Possess a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and in particular, CFR parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM/QCM Support Aircraft Crew Chief with the shift turnover requirements as outlined in the RSM/QCM Collaborate and cooperate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve the on time and on budget objectives of the work scope Perform daily activities toward providing services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations Maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5S system of sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and drive to zero defects in workmanship and safety Observe and administer company rules and regulations and safety policy and standard operating procedures Support the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectives May perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. FAA Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating. Minimum three (4) years’ experience preferably business jet maintenance environment, Falcon aircraft would be a big plus. Well-qualified transitioning service members may have this requirement waived APU Operation qualified. Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics. Lift up to 50 pounds. Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents. Work and bend in a confined workspace. Must have manual dexterity required for technician. Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs. Knowledgeable and experienced using computers and aircraft software. FAA Inspection Authorization (Desired). Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft (Desired).
