Join a premier aerospace interior manufacturing and MRO operation located at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB). This facility supports high-end interior completions, refurbishments, and modifications for a wide range of business jets. The organization is expanding its operations to meet growing demand across North and South America and is seeking experienced interior technicians to join their skilled workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, remove, and modify interior components such as galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, partitions, and cabinetry in business jet aircraft Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standard operation procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance Use a variety of tools and equipment (e.g., sanders, shears, drills, pneumatic tools) to complete fit and finish work Align, adjust, and secure parts to achieve precise installation using fasteners, adhesives, and appropriate bonding methods Inspect completed work for accuracy, fit, and finish, ensuring it meets internal and customer quality standards Maintain detailed documentation of all tasks performed using the company’s maintenance tracking systems Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules and turnaround times Support interior refurbishment or modification projects under tight deadlines and high-quality expectations Adhere to FAA regulations, safety protocols, and company quality standards at all times
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience performing interior completions or modifications on business jets (e.g., Falcon, Gulfstream, Bombardier, or similar)
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of aircraft cabinetry, upholstery, composite materials, and interior mechanical systems Attention to
Detail:
Demonstrated precision and craftsmanship in working with luxury aircraft interiors
Tools:
Must provide your own basic hand tools; specialty tools provided by the company
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred:
Experience with VIP or VVIP completion work is a plus
