Performs all work activities in accordance with established laws, regulations, standards, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure safety of self and others. Inspects aircraft components and recommends replacement, repair, or modification based on inspection. Reports issues, malfunctions, unusual wear, or damage to appropriate personnel, as required. Modifies components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications. Repairs worn, defective, or damaged parts or components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Researches, reads, and interprets technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, repairs, or other work activities. Uses computers, computer systems, and other technology to enter, document, access, receive, or communicate information. Experience Proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance practices is a plus. Strong skills in welding, soldering, and the use of power tools are essential. Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments. A background in vehicle maintenance or related fields will be considered an asset.
