Job Description
A&P Mechanic DoratoJets Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 Our Fort Lauderdale base of operations is looking for an A&P Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and other line maintenance of LearJet Aircraft. Components and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and FAA regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing scheduled, unscheduled, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts on aircraft in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual or other approved technical data. Documenting all maintenance performed in accordance with the requirements of regulating authorities and company guidelines. Complete return to service entry into aircraft logbook. Assisting in the administration of parts management, core returns, and warranty claims in a timely and orderly fashion. Maintenance of shop, hangar tools, equipment, and facilities, as needed. Perform other duties as required by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager or Director of Maintenance. Participating in the Safety Management System.
What you need:
Must have
HSD/GED. FAA A&P
License. Ability to pass a motor vehicle background check. 2 years aviation maintenance experience. Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems; aircraft systems and technical knowledge of Learjet aircraft. Ability to work unsupervised. Good interpersonal skills, communication written and verbal. Self-motivation, integrity, cooperation, professionalism and leadership. Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces. Wear respirator/safety protective equipment as indicated. Be able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
Prefer 2 years experience in FAA part 145 or 135 corporate aircraft operations. 2 years hands-on line maintenance experience on Learjet 30 series aircraft. Engine run and taxi experience

$35.00 – $55.00 per hour
