The role involves working on light sport aircraft with a focus on four-cylinder engine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on light aircraft engines. Specialize in four-cylinder engine systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support aircraft assembly and testing. Installing and modifying electrical systems Maintaining aircraft components like hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems Maintain detailed maintenance records and adhere to regulatory standards and company procedures. Continuously improve processes and contribute to a safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications:
Airframe & Power plant (A&P) license LAS-RM (Light Aircraft Service – Repair and Maintenance) license Experience with Rotax 912 series engines or Rotax Engines Excellent proficiency in electrical systems, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficiently Experience with composite repairs using carbon fiber materials is highly desirable Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with experience using applications for signing off aircraft maintenance tasks and logbooks Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting and working overhead for extended periods of time
Preferred Experience & Education:
3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance, assembly, installation, and repair of overall aircraft systems Direct experience with new product introductions within the light sport aircraft or recreational industries, including but not limited to powerboats. Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in the use of hand tools and electrical troubleshooting. Comfortable using different types of test equipment Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, service, and R D departments. Proficient in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, and work instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills while under limited supervision
