Role Objective:
Maintain and repair airframes and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Conduct the disassembly of aircraft by removing components, cleaning/inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory.
Essential Job Tasks:
Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions and company policies. Applies technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions. Maintains records in compliance with FAA and Company standards. Maintains premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner. Maintains equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition. Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling and guidance. Performs many other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV,Bombardier Global, Hawker 800/900XP, Cessna 560XL, Latitude and Longitude maintenance preferred. Knowledge of aviation procedures/servicing/maintenance Adept in workplace safety best practices Understanding of applicable FARs Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, write and speak English. (Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus) Ability to work well as part of a team
Minimum Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Excellent computer skills. Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required. Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Good vision and depth perception Availability during nights, weekends, & holidays as needed

Minimal travel is required
Required Education/Experience:
FAA A&P license required 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position High School diploma or GED Has no certificate action since the date of the interview Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date

Able to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public. Able to speak and be understood in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
