  Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

• Job Description
• Join a team dedicated to supporting the commercial and corporate aviation industries through the repair and restoration of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used on airport properties. This role involves performing routine inspections and maintenance, diagnosing system issues, and replacing or repairing various equipment components.
• Responsibilities
• + Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of Ground Support Equipment.

+ Perform system diagnostics to identify and resolve issues. + Replace electrical components as needed. + Carry out hydraulic filter replacements. + Replace seals and gaskets. + Repair or replace engines, compressors, generators, transmissions, and differentials. + Handle basic 3 phase AC motor and panel replacements without armature work.

• Essential Skills
• + Experience with diesel, mechanical, electrical repairs. + Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to use hand tools effectively. + Experience with truck and trailer maintenance. + Ground Support Equipment experience is required. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Preventive maintenance expertise. + Experience with heavy equipment.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Minimum of 5 years in-depth hydraulic and/or mechanical experience. + Aviation experience is not required; on-the-job training is provided.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
