Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Receive and understand work assignments through effective communication. Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision. Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection/documentation requirements. Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other documentation in a timely manner. Assist with shift turnovers as needed. Ensure all work meets quality standards, aircraft specifications, and safety requirements. Properly tag and handle customer property and equipment. Ensure secure and safe storage of components. Operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs, forklifts) in accordance with standard operating procedures. Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas. Provide guidance and on-the-job training to less experienced technicians. Protect customer property and interiors (PTP compliance). Collect and dispose of waste materials (fuel, oil, fluids, solvent rags) properly. Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S and Lean principles. Apply continuous improvement initiatives and Lean processes across all areas of responsibility. Use and maintain company-provided tools properly; return equipment to designated storage areas after use. Comply with all safety policies and procedures. Use required PPE and address unsafe conditions proactively. Utilize the material tracking system to manage parts demands, track squawks, document sign-offs, and charge labor correctly. Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight tests as required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience OR Four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience, including at least two (2) years working on mid- or large-size aircraft Valid Driver’s License required Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and company policies and procedures Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
