Job Description
Summary:
Seeking an RS Aircraft Tech II to perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate Valid Driver’s License 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years including work on mid/large size aircraft Knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Lean/continuous improvement processes
Responsibilities:
Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications Coordinate compliance with inspection and documentation requirements Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs accurately and timely Tag customer property; store components securely Operate ground support equipment safely following standard procedures Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas Apply Lean Initiatives to maintain clean work areas Use material tracking system for parts demand and labor charge-off
