Serving both local Metro-Atlanta business aviation customers and clients worldwide, we offer a wide range of services. Our facilities include 110,000 square feet of hangar space and 14 acres of ramp and facilities, specializing in full-service FBO, airframe and engine maintenance, private aircraft management, pilot services, aircraft sales and acquisitions, and more.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Aircraft Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in general aviation. This role involves performing aircraft line maintenance activities in compliance with FAA regulations, company standards, and customer requirements. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and servicing various systems such as engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. The Senior Aircraft Technician will also perform the removal and replacement of system components as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Internal contractor role transitioning to direct hire after 90 days.
Hourly rate commensurate with experience and training qualifications.
Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct line maintenance (both on-call and scheduled) on various aircraft.
Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service.
Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components, ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met.
Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble components using approved technical data provided by customers.
Ensure all departing aircraft meet FARs and air carrier/manufacturer standards, and document all work performed.
Carry out assigned maintenance duties, activities, and tasks effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass DOT/FAA Pre-Employment Drug Screening and a 10-year background check (no felonies or adverse criminal activity).
Own necessary tools.
Proficiency in reading and writing English and technical information.
Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, crawl, and lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and loud noises.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training on Gulfstream, Bombardier, Textron, Embraer, or Dassault turbine aircraft.
Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), repair stations, or OEM.
Familiarity with Quantum maintenance software.
10+ years of aviation industry experience.
