Line Service Tech-Seasonal 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 115 Caruso Drive, Ellsworth, ME 04605 Job Summary This is a seasonal/variable type position $1,500.00 seasonal bonus will be paid to you if you work the entire season Primary Purpose of the Position The Line Service Technician (LST) attends to all service needs as they relate to and transient aircraft, catering to the needs of the jet owners, guests, and crews. While a LST’s main job duties are focused upon the technical services provided to the aircraft (fueling, towing, parking, basic cleaning, etc.), exceptional customer service skills are vital for the successful completion of this role. The LST ensures that every arriving /departing aircraft receives all ground support services in a timely fashion with high energy and a smile. Responsibilities Perform routine line service tasks including fueling, towing, and parking of aircraft. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist with aircraft maintenance as needed, following established protocols and procedures. Manage logistics related to the movement of aircraft and equipment on the ramp. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and inquiries promptly. Supervise junior staff members during busy operations to ensure efficiency and safety. Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used. Operate various vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, in a safe manner. Performs other duties deemed necessary and assigned by shift-lead or Line Manager. Understands that this position may expose the partner to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, machinery, and inclement weather. Will be expected to work any of our 3 shifts as/when assigned Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays Requirements Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of basic math principles for accurate fuel calculations and record keeping. Valid commercial driving license is required; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance procedures and safety regulations is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
