Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant Technician to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft types. The ideal candidate will have an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification and a strong background in troubleshooting and aircraft systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred. Minimum of +1 years of aircraft maintenance experience. Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station, MRO, or airline maintenance environment preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments as required. Strong understanding of safety and quality assurance procedures in aviation maintenance. Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural issues. Conduct scheduled maintenance, including component replacements, system tests, and modifications. Document maintenance actions using approved record-keeping systems and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals and FAA regulations. Maintain and repair aircraft engines, landing gear, flight controls, and avionics systems as needed. Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations by performing emergency repairs to minimize aircraft downtime. Sparta Networking is an equal opportunity employer.
