Your Role:

Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced As an Aviation Construction Materials Engineering Technician in our Charlotte, North Carolina office, you will be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, documenting field activities, and performing quality assurance services. You will utilize advanced software for reporting and testing and maintain open communication with stakeholders. This role offers the chance to obtain additional certifications, take on more complex testing, and mentor younger technicians.

What You’ll Do:
Review Plans and Specifications :

Ensure seamless alignment with on-site observations by thoroughly reviewing construction plans and specifications.

Document Field Activities :

Record field activities, observations, and testing results using Metafield® and other information management systems.

Perform Quality Assurance Services :

Conduct quality assurance services following applicable standards (FAA, DOT, ASTM, and/or AASHTO). Communicate with

Stakeholders :

Maintain daily communication with management staff, general contractors, and clients to foster trust and transparency.

Conduct Testing and Inspections :

Perform and observe testing and inspections of construction materials, including soil, concrete, and asphalt, to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

A High School diploma/GED A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials Two (2) or more active certifications: American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils) Effective communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language Effective math skills with a basic understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure What to
