Aircraft Maintenance Technician 22nd Century Technologies, Inc.

Pay Rate:

$41.91/hr. (36.98/hr Jun 17, 2025

12 Months assignment with possible extension

Shift Schedule:

First Shift (7:00 am- 3:30 pm)

Pay Rate:

$41.91/hr. (36.98/hr. + 4.93 Health & Welfare benefits).

Requested Security Clearance:
Secret Role & Responsibilities:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Oversees training and works under general direction.

Other Requirements:
Physical Demands:

Exposed to loud noises, flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting). Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds.

Training:

Approximately 4 weeks – will likely take place in San Antonio, TX

Travel Comments:

Domestic travel 50% or more. Possible international travel for which a corporate credit card will be issued for this assignment.

Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years’ related work, Bachelor, etc.).
