The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of our aircraft fleet, requiring attention to detail and adherence to industry regulations. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems, including airframe and engines. Utilize precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines to ensure components meet specifications. Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools and equipment repair techniques. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, adhering to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Requirements Proven experience in aircraft maintenance with a strong understanding of airframe systems. Proficiency in using an ohmmeter, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge with a focus on equipment repair techniques. Experience with coordinate measuring machines is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
