The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various telecommunication and alarm systems. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Low Voltage Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our systems, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including fire alarms and telecommunication equipment. Utilize hand tools effectively for system installation and troubleshooting tasks. Design and build low voltage systems according to project specifications. Work with remote access software to monitor and manage system performance. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions for alarm system sales. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience in low voltage installations, preferably in telecommunication or alarm systems. Certification in low voltage technology is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with system design principles related to low voltage applications. Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
