Description
- This technician will be responsible for installing all panels, cabling for panels, and ensuring power to the panels for the service technicians.
- Work with customers to identify necessary and desired system components
- Manage system inventory and materials
- Read wiring diagrams and systems blueprints to assure proper and safe installation
- Up-sell products to meet customer needs/wants
- Mount low voltage electrical devices & panels
- Run and install wires per manufacturer specifications and code
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Perform on-site troubleshooting when necessary to complete the job
- Provide customer with system operation training
- Keep work truck clean and organized
- Manage inventory and tools for each job to assure proper parts and tools are on hand
- Perform emergency calls on fire & security systems
- Conduct emergency assessments and return systems to proper operational status immediately Skills commercial electrical, fire alarm, low voltage, cable puller, alarm install, cabling, nicet, panel installation, installation, cat 6, j-hooks, wall fishing Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Commercial Fire Alarm Installation
- Cabling (Cat 5)

- 2+ years of experience with commercial low voltage systems (Burglar Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Controls, CCTV)
- Customer-service oriented, communication/ leadership skills, and someone who works well within a team
- Professional should possess basic hand tools, but company will provide ladders and specialty tools
- Willing to work on ladders or lifts
