What you will do Fire Sprinkler Installation employees are responsible for the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices. Installers are also responsible for the execution of the installation project plan including equipment delivery, accurately forecasting installation hours, anticipating potential challenges, and properly securing all Johnson Controls tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent damage or loss. How you will do it
- As sprinkler installer, you will efficiently and neatly perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
- You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- In this position you will be provided verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices.
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
- Capable of performing physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- You will have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly. What we look for Required
- 3+ years of Sprinkler Install experience.
- Working knowledge of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems, and fire pump systems
NICET II
(preferred)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude
- Capable of performing physical labor
- Excellent communication skills
