The Fire Alarm Service Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair of fire alarm systems and fire alarm panels and devices. The technician ensures compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and customer requirements while delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, wiring issues, and device failures.
Conduct functional and acceptance testing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
Provide technical support and training to customers on system operation. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Edwards fire alarm systems experience a plus.
Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps and alarm panels.
Intermediate computer and software skills, good customer service skills and math skills.
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver’s license
