As an Alarm Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by providing exceptional field service and support. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems for residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Perform troubleshooting on alarm systems to identify issues and implement repairs. Document service calls, inspections, and installations accurately for record-keeping purposes. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to alarm systems. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar field service role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools. Familiarity with construction inspection processes is a plus. Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to alarm system installations. Ability to build and configure alarm systems according to specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
