Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician Briggs Management & Associate Miramar, FL 33029 Overview We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Low voltage electrical systems and Fire alarm system knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security systems, and communication networks. Duties Install and maintain low voltage systems according to specifications and industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate system design and installation. Perform fire sprinkler fitting as required for compliance with safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections and testing of low voltage systems to detect issues or malfunctions. Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot and resolve system problems efficiently. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding system operations. Qualifications Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to low voltage installations. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical principles. Experience in system design, particularly for low voltage applications. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation effectively. Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting practices is a plus. Previous experience as a service technician in the low voltage field is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
