• We are looking for hard working individuals who would like to get into the Custom Audio Video and Smart Home Technology profession.

You’ll need to have a genuine passion for technology including TVs, Music, Security, Home Automation, and Wiring and be a quick learner. You’ll also need to be generally “handy” and feel comfortable operating power tools. Passion and positive attitude is MOST important. Excellent communication skills are a must as well!

Tasks include:

• Installing audio, video, security, & smart home technology systems.
• Working on construction sites for new home construction projects to install needed cabling before drywall is installed. (Working in the SWFL heat during these times)
• Occasionally climbing in attics to install cable in retro homes.
• Working with high end customers to train on use of systems.
• Mounting TVs, Speakers, Projectors, Cameras, etc inside of businesses and homes and programming for use. Must be willing to learn the following in an “on the job” training environment:
• Control4 Control systems including lighting systems.
• Sonos and other audio distribution systems
• Networking equipment including Unifi, Araknis, and Others like it
• Low voltage wiring
• Rack installations and neat cable dressing
• Security systems and Alarm.com installation
• Basic Access Control
• MoIP and other video distribution solutions including programming and installation.

This position is full time M-F 8am to 5pm. Overtime is rare and optional when it is available. You must pass a background check as we do work on security systems. In addition, a clean driving record for the past 2 years is required along with a minimum age requirement to drive company vehicles. We provide health insurance, paid holidays and 2 weeks paid time off. Pay will be determined based on experience, passion, professionalism and communication skills.
