This position will be responsible for overseeing the installation of fire sprinkler systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of fire sprinkler systems, and the ability to manage and coordinate multiple aspects of a construction project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct regular visits to job sites to monitor progress and ensure that installation is proceeding as scheduled. Oversee day-to-day activities on the job site, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Track and report construction progress on multiple projects simultaneously. Develop and coordinate daily labor plans to ensure optimal manpower allocation. Coordinate and track material deliveries to ensure that all necessary supplies are on-site when needed. Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are being used effectively and safely. Serve as the main point of contact for the General Contractor, HVAC, Electrical, and Underground teams. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding job progress, challenges, and potential changes. Coordinate and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with other trades on-site. Provide guidance and technical support to installation teams, ensuring best practices are followed. Ensure that installation meets all design specifications, quality standards, and code requirements. Monitor job site safety, ensuring that all personnel comply with safety standards and protocols. Conduct inspections, manage punch-out items, and ensure the final installation is completed with precision. Track and document hours, manpower, materials, and equipment used on-site for each project. Complete required project tracking forms, including daily progress reports and project performance documentation. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, approvals, and project-related communications. Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire sprinkler installation and supervision. OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred. In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, installation techniques, and safety codes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well with diverse teams. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fire sprinkler design plans. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address issues on-site promptly. Valid driver’s license and a clean driver record.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, confined spaces). Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. #
