This is a full-time opportunity where you’ll earn a competitive salary, based on your experience, and be eligible for paid time off as well as other perks and benefits. Your responsibilities as Low Voltage Lead Technician will include managing and working alongside your team to facilitate the installation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling, security systems, audio-visual and automation systems, fire alarm systems, and life safety systems. Additionally, you will be expected to: Work with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project scope and objectives are achieved. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documents to ensure proper installation. Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and codes. Train and mentor team members. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards. Prepare and submit project reports, as needed. To qualify, you must have 3-5 years of experience in low voltage systems, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. We also require you to have: A high school diploma or GED. Advanced technical training or certifications are preferred. In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, including cabling, security, AV, and fire alarms. Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical specifications. Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace safety protocols. Scissor Lift and Aerial Boom Experience a plus. The ability to work Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM and Saturdays, as needed. Clean MVR, Background, and Drug Screen. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites, as needed. Certifications such as BICSI, NICET, or equivalent a plus. Prior experience with project management tools and software and/or a background in large-scale commercial or industrial low voltage projects preferred.
